Interesting Facts: Their hearing is 5 times better than humans and their night vision is 6 times better. They eat deer, gaur, and buffalo but when those animals become scarce they eat monkeys, birds, and frogs. The cubs are blind and helpless when born but at 2 months old it starts to eat meat.
Deforestation and poaching in India caused this species to be endangered. In 1969 they added the Bengal Tiger to the endangered list, now there are only 2000 left in the world.
